Paying for your pet essentials at ShopBySmart is safe, easy, and flexible. We offer a range of payment options to suit Finnish shoppers. All transactions are protected with SSL encryption, and your payment information is never stored on our servers.

We currently accept the following payment options at checkout:

When Is My Card Charged?
Your payment is processed at the time you complete your order at checkout. You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after your payment is successful. If your payment fails or is declined, your order will not be placed and you will be prompted to try a different payment method.
Currency
All prices on ShopBySmart are displayed and charged in Euros (€). Finnish VAT (arvonlisävero) is included in all displayed prices. There are no additional currency conversion fees for Finnish bank accounts. If you are using an international card, your card provider may apply conversion fees please check with your bank.
Invoicing and Receipts
After every successful order, we send an email receipt with a full breakdown of your purchase including:

- Â Â Â Unit price and total price including VAT
- Â Â Â Shipping details (free shipping on all orders)
- Â Â Â Order number and date
If you need a formal VAT invoice for your records, please contact us at support@shopbysmart.com with your order number.
Payment Issues
If you experience any issues with your payment, please:
- Â Â Â Check that your card details are entered correctly
- Â Â Â Make sure your card has sufficient funds or credit available
- Â Â Â Try a different payment method if available
- Â Â Â Contact your bank to check if the transaction was declined from their side

Refunds
If you are entitled to a refund under our Return & Refund Policy, the amount will be returned to your original payment method within 14 business days of the refund being approved. For more details, please see our Return & Refund Policy page.
